This particular chandelier has a beautiful story that will stay with me forever.

Last year, a gentleman contacted me and asked me if I could make one of these in time for Christmas. Fortunately, it was still a few weeks to Christmas, and I could squeeze it in.

A few weeks later, a lady contacted me and asked about the same chandelier?!

I remember saying to my engineer:
'Isn't that amazing two enquiries on the same chandelier in less than a month?'
My previous enquiries for this design had been much earlier in the year.

Needless to say the following day the gentleman contacted me again and said:
"So my GF has also been chatting to you...about the same chandelier... can you make some excuse up as to why you can't deliver it?" 🤣🤣🤣

Well, I was in stitches!

The chandelier did get there in time for Christmas and the gentleman secretly installed it while his GF was out. I would love to have been a fly on the wall when she walked in to see it hanging there!!

And that is why I love doing what I do!

I am really excited about my new tea light creation for the month of love.

If you watch my stories you would have seen I have a new toy to play with - a glue gun. This is one of the first creations a-la-glue gun.

Truth be told my engineer has been trying to get me to buy a glue gun for months!
Engineer - 'Love I really think you might have a lot of fun with a glue gun.'
Me - 'Yes,Yes.'

Well I finally bought one and it sat, and sat.

Last year during the panic of Christmas season my engineer was at me again:
Engineer: 'Love, I really think you should try your glue gun, it might help you.'
Me - '😑 I don't have time to learn a new skill right now.'

At last this week I eyed that gun and I thought 'Okay let's give it a go.'

Me 'Engineer I like my glue gun! I do, I do, I so like my glue gun!'

Why I was so resistant to change on this I cannot tell you? 🤷‍♀️
So silly really.

As for the engineer... if you have an engineer in you life, like I do, you will understand just how smug he is at the moment!

So irritating. 🤣

Here's to perfecting my glue gun skills this year. I hope you will enjoy the creations that come from it.
